Hasler, Inc. has introduced its new high volume WJ250 Mailing System for handling a wide range of packages and letters. The WJ250 offers an advanced Mixed Mail Feeder and the opportunity to utilize True Differential Weighing for quick processing of mail composed of various weights and sizes.

The Mixed Mail Feeder processes envelopes that are nested (open flaps), non-nested, or a combination of both. It saves valuable time by accepting a wide selection of mail types and eliminating the costly chore of sorting mail by size and feeding method.

Hasler’s True Differential Weighing option - as compared to conventional pass through processing - allows you to bulk weigh a batch of different mail items, with the system recognizing and printing the exact postage required for each one you remove from the scale. It is a very efficient method for identifying and processing individual postage amounts needed for virtually any mail item or package.

The speedy WJ250 Mailing System processes mail up to 5/8” thick at a rate of 250 letters per minute, and offers accurate cost tracking of 200 default accounts with the ability to expand accounts to meet a customer’s specific needs. The system can interface with a full line of scales and weighing platforms to help you instantly set accurate rates for your mail, and with a 10 programmable job capacity, you save time by recording the steps and specifics of mail class, ad die, departments and more for your most common jobs.

Additional Features
The new WJ250 comes with a large, high speed touch screen display for quick and easy operation. Also, using HP technology, its high capacity ink reservoir yields over 215% more imprints than the competition and saves nearly 10% on a per/imprint cost. The Mixed Mail Feeder has a unique pump-based sealing feature – compared to a conventional “belt and brush” system - that allows for a constant flow of water to ensure the proper sealing of every piece of mail. And easy accessibility means no more service calls to clean the sealing unit.

The WJ250’s optional dynamic scale runs mixed weight mail up to 120 letters per minute. It can dramatically improve productivity by eliminating the need to pre-weigh and sort mail by weight or postage cost. When you add the WJ Dynamic Weighing Platform (WJDWP), you’ll have the ability to weigh up to two pounds in motion. This means you can weigh, rate and post different size mail at the touch of a button. The WJDWP handles dynamic, batch or pass thru processing.
